Motus has over 10 years of experience in the rehabilitation of multi-family apartment buildings and communities, renovating nearly 14,000 units in three different markets. The company has also remodeled hundreds of single family homes and condominiums.

Artists on the 9INE Art Gallery & Workspace
Motus Construction partnered with The Greater Chatham Initiative (GCI) and our sister company Pangea Cares to convert the storefront of 735 E 79th St on Chicago’s south side into a space for the community and local artists. Back in December 2018, Motus’s parent company was approached by GCI about the opportunity to provide the Chatham neighborhood with its first art gallery and workspace. Because of the area’s historical significance and the building’s landmark designation, Motus also worked with the City of Chicago and Landmark Illinois to ensure our rehabilitation efforts stay within historic preservation guidelines.
